Anybody know where I can get good info on rebuilding Bing carbs for my 81 BMW r65. Don't wanna start without good diagrams, step-by-step, whatever could keep me out of trouble.

Clymer has a manual for R-series 1970 - 1996. Lots of pictures, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions. You need this manual.

check out ibmwr.org as well.

They've got some old timers and well experienced wrenchers on that site who could offer some "here's how I did it" advice.
