did you notice the CBR 1000 photo squeezed in under the CBR 600 heading?

a refreshingly new look for a sportbike. pretty hot imo.

Cool, a 230L... Which is the most exciting new thing for 08... Damnit honda, we want, nay, we need more than that for fricks sake!

Or, for $400 more, you can get a liquid cooled 250cc dual sport from Kawasaki.... Dual sport based off Honda's entry level dirtbike for teens and up, or one based off a proven 250cc enduro?

That's a 600RR.

Have you ridden a klx250? I've only ridden the 300 so I can't accurately comment.

There was a brand new design of the CBR 1000 up on the website where the orange 600 is. Someone must have noticed and changed it out...

I swear I'm not crazy. It was black and silver and real smooth and swoopy looking with a mid-mounted exhaust like the Gixxers and clearly said CBR 1000 ont he side

I've ridden the KX250 before. Yeah, it's the MX version, but i don't imagine it'd be that different. I imagine the KLX has a wider gear ratio for better crawling capabilities. And different suspension to deal with different terain. And the motor to be tuned for low and midrange.

The CRF230 was a replacment for the venerable XR200R. NOT a performance machine in the least. The only advantage it really has over the 200 is the easy button and the disc brakes. The HP advantage is partially offset by the additional weight the bike has. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying the CRF230 is a BAD bike, they just seem like different animals to me. It honeslty would not suprise me to learn the 230L is better ON road than the Kawi. Kinda like switching roles from the XRL and KLR.

This would be the 1000RR.

And the 2008 line-up is a pretty lame attempt by Honda to build excitement. Things sure have gone down hill since the old boy died....
I want an updated VFR or VTR

According to Motorcycle-USA the entire 2008 sportbike lineup has yet to be revealed.
There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.

Looks like a GSX1000R :( dissamapointing.

Bikes have caught up with cars I fear, in the sense that the new stuff is more boring than the boring stuff last from last year. Its all so "yesturday".
