Think Wings are great big lumps?

That they are big lumbering lumps with the nimblness of brick wall? You may want to reconsider that......I just have....
Always ask why.

I had the opportunity to test ride the GL1800 Goldwing on a Honda Demo Day and I was blown away by the high level of performance that bike is capable of. Made me an immediate convert, that thing is amazing, expensive...yes.... but it delivers in spades.
There is no such thing as a bad motorcycle.

About 30 grand new right? I saw a 2003 for only $5000 on kijiji and only 10,000 km; something can't be right there. But if it's the real deal, sounds like quite the steal. Had no idea these machines had these kinds of capabilities.

I'd heard the engine is powerful like a jet turbine (not surprising considering the displacement and architecture), and the thing is surprisingly nimble due to very low COG. Can't watch Ceemes' video 'till I get home (yes, it's quarter to six, I'm still at work  and they block Youtube here...)

The sound on my computer kinda sucks, but is that a scraping sound I'm hearing on just about every curve? Maybe the bike seems nimble because of all the excess weight that has been scraped off

Seriously, that's an excellent piece of riding.

I think that this is the same guy that did the equivalent of an Iron Butt ride with the Wing up and down the Gap. The man can ride.
I would be the old, slow guy. Just let me know where you are going and I'll try to get there before you leave.

The noise you are hearing is from the bike following the wing.
