Need Advice

#1 Unread post by igor »

Ok I tried sitting on Ninja 250r and it seemed a bit to small for me(6.2ft), so i am thinking of maybe trying Ninja 650 because the dealer told me it would fit me way better, but it also would not kill me, since i never rode a bike, according to him even tho it is more powerfull than Ninja 250 it is still very forgiving

Any suggestions?

Same height, and yeah, he's right, although if I were you I might try the 500 instead...
It's powerful enough to carry my extra large frame around with no problem, but is relatively forgiving...

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Lol actually i only weigh 180 pounds and I am 6.2, so i am pretty thin

It is just that the size of 250 feels way to smal for me

I think either would be a good choice. Personally, I like the looks of the 650.

LOL

to the OP:

the 250 IS small. 6' 1, 170 here but you will only look like huge on the bike, it won't feel that way once you get riding.

I personally will never ride a bike that small again because with me on it it looks like a friggen giraffe on a tricycle.

I'd go for the 500 or 650.

That would be funny if it weren't true.

I've been on this forum dor only a couple of hrs and I've already read at least 5 or 6 posts about the ninja 250R and being too tall. All that I've read is that there are many other tall riders that have the 250 and that are pretti heavy, and they say that the bike behaves wonderfully.

Try instead the bandit 400
