First Ride
First Ride
Okay so I took my first ride on the soon to be my motorcycle Saturday. Probably not the best time considering Biketoberfest is right around the corner and the old folks down here are driving worse than usual (no offense to anyone who actually goes 10 under normally, but it does get annoying to everyone who goes the speed limit), but it was fun regardless. I put about 100 miles before I had to return it from my test drive and all I have been thinking about since then is finally taking it home Thursday. I hit a bunch of backroads and then got pretty comfortable and hit some 45 MPH roads and got into some traffic. Some old lady cut me off, went 25 in the 45 and then stopped at the next 3 green lights but I got around her when it opened the other lane up. Can't wait to get back out again and do some more riding. I hate to say it but it's almost more fun than driving my 81 Camaro, and its a stick!

Okay, you're obviously not ready to be a motorcyclist...Crocket07 wrote: I hate to say it but it's almost more fun than driving my 81 Camaro, and its a stick!
If it's only "ALMOST" better, then stick to your "stick", but I have a sneaking suspicion
that you'll find that the car is going to get awfully boring after a trip on the bike...
