Hello

#1 Unread post by Wackoman »

Wackoman here.

I am new to this site and new to riding. I do not have a motorcycle but have ridden my son's Yamaha. It is a 600 cruiser type bike and I like it. I plan to go thru the safety course before the new year and purchase a motorcycle soon afterward. I will be needing lots of advice. I will ask for forgiveness ahead of time for any stupid question I might post.

I am 47 years old and I live near Atlanta Georgia.

Hello Wackoman!

Glad you're getting into biking! Before you ask any questions, I'd recommend you read all the stickies at the top of the forums, or maybe just the ones you are interested in. They have lots of info, and give answers to most types of questions.

It's a good start, and gives you a leg up on what's been discussed already.

Feel free to ask anything though, there are lots of people here with lots of opinions on almost everything bike related.

Later!

There are no stupid questions. Irritating questions, yes....

Be sure to check out the stickies in the new rider forum and, sometimes it helps to use the Search button located in the second line under the TMW logo on the left side of the screen and 3rd from the left.

Good Luck, Have Fun and Stay Safe Out There!

Welcome

I see Ceemes has welcomed you with his silver tongue.

Ceemes may be old, but I feel like an 18 year old. Where can I get an 18 year old ?

I know the old ones are the best - like us.
