Aramid or kevlar

Im planing to buy some riding Jeans with some abrasion resistant pads. I came across two type of pads Kevlar and aramid. my questions is which is stronger?

Kevlar is an aramid. Well, a "para-aramid" if Wikipedia is to be trusted.

Kevlar by itself also makes a "pee"-poor layer for abrasion resistance. The material shreds on pavement because it doesn't stretch well. Riding gear with synthetic abrasion resistance will usually have a Kevlar and nylon mix.
