I am a newbe to his site as well and I have found it to be very friendly. So I will pass that on and say welcome. I at one time lived in Burlington Wisconsin myself. What part are you in now?

I live in beloit wisconsin but i'm originally from illinois. I was born in winfield then moved to bloomingdale, itasca, shaumburg, rolling meadows, arlington heights, then rockford, lovespark, roscoe, rockton and now i am in beloit wisconsin. I guess you could call me a mover. Though most of those moves i didn't have a choice cause i was just a kid.

As a kid also I lived in Des Plaines (later teens) have friends in Rolling Meadows and we did move back and forth from the subs of Chicago and Winsconsin ourselves. My dad was a traveling salesmen in the area covering Mich, Wisc, and Ill. We even lived in Battlecreek Michigan for awhile. I was in Des Plaines from 68 to about 76.

Cool, I've spent a lot of time in the Northwest Suburbs as well (man, I got horribly lost in Winfield once...going to West Chicago from Downers, those train tracks stopped us cold haha)...and I'm originally from WI as well...Madison area. Now I'm in Austin TX though. So hello fellow Wisconsinite!

Hallo, I'm Tom also from Wisconsin (Menasha) and new to this site. I've only been riding for 5 years ( four in Wisconsin). The weather here sure puts a damper on riding for about 4-5 months. Oh well....
