Greetings From Florida USA

#1 Unread post by mowgirl »

Hello to all you biking women out there. I'm preparing to purchase a new bike. I had a Honda Nighthawk 8 years ago, then somehow managed to have twin girls, which were my fifth and sixth kids. So sadly I sold my bike and haven't ridden for 7 years. I'd love a refresher course but cannot find one here in Florida. Either way, I'm ready to buy a Honda Shadow Spirit. Anyone have any opinions of that bike?

First of all..... :welcome2: to TMW. It must be nice to live in a place where you can ride all year.

The Honda Shadows are very nice bikes. Everyone I know who owns one loves it.

Enjoy the forums. :)

Welcome to the site and I myself will be looking very closely at the Honda Shadow line in 2008 or 09. I have liked what I have seen and heard so far.

Hello!

I had the Honda Shadow 600 before this one, and it was a good bike, you should do just fine with it!

Enjoy, and just look for the MSF (Motorcyclec Safety Foundation) course and take it. I am sure they have one there if they have one in little 'ole Fairbanks, AK! ;) That will get you situated and ready for the road again, I HIGHLY recommend it!

Have fun and let us know! Welcome back, you will really enjoy it and it will be a nice break from the kiddos..... :welcome3:
