new guy
Hi, just wanted to get started here as i am a new rider at 44 years of age. I signed up and paid for my msf course and cant wait for it to begin. I have got my gear and been reading some books. This forum was a great find for me. Lots of information. I did do something backwards but am happy i did. I have already bought my bike. after alot of shopping around and research, I found a '07 Yamaha Virago 250 at a nearby dealer that they were more than willing to deal on. This was the bike I was looking for. I did alot of sitting and this was best fit for me.

Smart move, start small, learn and grow into a bigger ride. That and promising to post a picture of the bike as soon as you can. If you don't John is liable to pay you an unwanted visit.jasper9652 wrote:I don't even have the bike in my possesion yet but i'll get a picture up as soon as i can. Thanks for the approval of my purchase. I've had more people tell me it's too small but I wanted to start out small. If I get enough miles this summer maybe move up next. Anyway I'm glad I'm here.

Always ask why.
