cl350 clutch/transmission

I've been slowely fixing up my cl350 but have came into a problem where it feels like when i pull in my clutch it feels like something is popping out, and also when thats not happening there is alot of play when the bike is in gear, is there a certain way to tighten that all up? thanks for the help
