I got a new bike !!
2 mondays ago, some dingleberry totaled my bike for me. For the record..not my fault...he hit me. damage=front of his car..side of my bike. No injury to me really, little road rash on the knee, a little sore for a few days..So..I knew as soon as I found out my bike was totaled by the insurance company that I was getting a new one. Looked at a few different bikes, was leaning towards the 08 cbr 600...sat a little lower than my old bike..nice looking machine...Then my arse found it's way onto a R1. Soooo saturday I go pick up my new R1 !! If you live in FL, and I mean pretty much anywhere in FL and your looking for a bike, the best deal your going to get is at this place called ARS Powersports. It's kind of a carmax ish experience.their prices are so low they don't haggle..they just give you an awesome price and you go away happy. My friend got his 07 gsxr 1000 for 10,200 out the door. Any shop in the area will tell you flat out..nope, can't match their price. I got an 08 R1..black. 11,200 out the door. Thats 500 bones under msrp, after tax tag and title. Needless to say, since I made the deal I've been so excited I can't hardly sleep....man it's been a long week. Already purchased my fender elimator, frame sliders..integrated turn signals..flushmout signals. Cool looking LED for under the fairings for improved nightime visibility. Not that I ride much at night..don't care for it much. I must admit though, that I am a bit nervous about going from a 600 to a 1000. But I'm not a wingnut, and I don't ride like a fool. So hopefully I can dodge the next moron that takes aim for me.

Luck often favors the one who doesn't count it in their plans
