Hello fellow bikers!

#1 Unread post by slo-bern »

Hey, my name is Slo-Bern. I'm new on here and I just thought I would say hi to everyone. My ride is a '04 HD Softail Standard.

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on good routes to take for a 3 day ride in the mountains - starting out in Okotoks. One idea I had was to go down 22, across the Crowsnest then back up through Radium, Golden, to Rocky Mountain House and back to Calgary.
Any suggestions or tips on good places to stay/eat, or a better route would be greatly appreciated. I have never ridden in the mountains before.

Safe riding to everyone!
Cheers!

Coming from Saskatchewan I can understand your not having ridden in the mountains....
Have you experienced any winding highways? :P

Mountain riding is exhilerating albeit challenging.

Yes, we certainly dont have mountains. We do have some nice winding roads in the lakeland areas though. Looking forward to it!!!
