Changing Oil

I need help and How to Changing oil on my 2003 hertage softail classic

I don't know Harleys at all.... But your owners manual should tell you. Mine told me to park on level ground, on the sidestand only, remove plug, change oil, replace plug. No mention of the crush washer but I knew better. And it told me only to change the filter every second change, but I do it every change.

Instead of "remove plug, change oil, replace plug" you might try "remove plug and filter, drane oil, replace filter, replace plug, add new oil". Might work better for you. :laughing:
