Good day cruise

#1 Unread post by mustangski »

I had off yesterday and wanted to go on a ride, so I called a buddy of mine. I wanted to check out one of the Harley shops about an hour away so we met up at 1000 and took off. It started out as a short ride but after the first shop my buddy, who was riding a GSX-R, wanted to check out a Suzuki shop that was in the same area. By the time it was all said and done we had gone over 160 miles and toured 4 different motorcycle dealerships. It was a great day for it too, the sun was shining and there was a cool breeze. We didn't get back to his house until after 6. One of the shops we stopped at sold Triumphs, I never had a close look at one of those bikes before. They are real nice, their cruizers look good. There was no real point to this thread, just had a great day of riding and wanted to share the experience.

I have only seen one of the triumphs up close, the Rocket, and that thing is huge, and it hauls "O Ring". The guy I know had pipes on his and it sounds like a thunder storm is rolling into town. Sounds like you had a nice trip. Ride safe.

We were looking at the rockets, that is one very large bike. A bit to big for my tastes but it does look fast. We also stopped in a Honda dealer and looked at one of those new Rune's. That thing was immense, the fuel tank looks like a car hood.

Ya know I bought a nice digital camera a couple of months ago and I always forget to bring it with me. I think I am going to have to permanently attach it to my bike. :D
