Color consultation

What's a high visibility color jacket to go with this bike?

Haven't bought it. . . yet.

Thanks!

 HI ccshamp, I wear a Turquoise and black Joe rocket jacket that has white reflective designs on it. My V-star is Blue and Black. The jacket has a liner with it for cool days and take the liner out for the warm days. It has protective elbows, shoulders and back. You can look at jackets online at www.joerocket.com I got mine at the Yamaha dealer so I could try it on before I bought it. I have a problem with buying stuff on line. Hope this helps.

If you want hi-vis just wear a hi-vis vest over whatever riding jacket you like.
But then I'm not exactly an expert on co-ordinating my gear to my bike. as you can see here.

Seriously though.....A white jacket or a black jacket would look good and the hi-vis vest would make you more visible and then you could take the vest off when you arrive at your destination and still look cool. :)

High Viz

What a great picture! It's a terrific reminder that I don't even notice how riders' jackets coordinate with their bikes.

Maybe I'll just clash wildly - that's one way to be high viz.

Wow blues,

I'm partially colorblind and even I have to say that's bad ;)

ccshamp:

I'm very picky about my color combinations I probably spent 8 hours total just picking out new gloves this week so I've looked through a bunch of websites at a bunch of jackets. And I'm a guy.

My friends rib me SO much cause my outfit has to match my bike.

I'd be willing to help you pick out an outfit. I know you want High Viz but are there any colors you like or hate that you can be more specific about? Let me know if you want my help.

I could have chosen the same jacket in black, and normally I choose black everything.....
but I opted for red for visiblity.
and reflective straps around my ankles for visibility...
My crate and dry bags coordinate though... :P
That picture was from my 2 week road trip.

I was pretty impressed that you had blue luggage to go with your bike! When you have that big of a pile on, I doubt much of your jacket shows anyway, at least not from the back. So, when you feel the need to Stewartize, going across town for coffee, for example, or meeting up to ride with Brackstone--just get out all your luggage!
