How to register a custom aftermarket frame in New Brunswick

#1 Unread post by Justlookin 1450 »

Hi i am moving down to New Brunswick in 3 weeks.I have a 99% finished Harley softail. The frame is aftermarket and the rest is all Harley. So how will it register with the ministry of transport NB.Do they register it with the serial on the motor trans or the frame that is aftermarket. And are custom builds high insurance rates ? Thanks for any insight.

What country/state? This is an international membership board.

Contact the jurisdiction DMV for New Brunswick. That would be the best source of this info.

As far as insurance, I'd call the Harley dealership in Saint John. They can tell you the name of the insurance company that specializes in motorcycle insurance, since I can't think of the name off the top of my head. Their number is 506-635-1223. As far as registering the bike, I would call Service New Brunswick and they can tell you what is involved. The number is 1 (506) 684-7901 for callers outside of NB.
