Will the color wax in stuff you see on tv, work well with minor surface scratches onthe gast tank of a motorcycle to color it back in and remove the scratch ?

Well It won't REMOVE the scratch but it may help to obscure it.

Unless you get some sort of permanent filler or repaint the bike, the scratches will eventually show through again.

Sure, it might not be for a year, but sooner or later...

A good scratch 'remover' and/or wax/shine/clear coat once or twice a year is a pretty good idea. (... either that, or it's just one more reason for me to spend time in the garage. )
