I carefully took a small jeweler's screwdriver and scraped the clay out of my bike's radiator.
Takes a gorram long time though. I did half of it and hope the heat cycles will loosen it up over the next few years.

You could use one of the cleaners that will soften goop and bug guts.....then wash them out with a soft brush.

I wish...Im just lazy.....
I actually havent had much riding time this year.... My parents have a cottage and that takes upo most of my spare time.... and 150 kms of gravel road kind of put the kibosh on riding the bike there...maybe an enduro might be in the future even.... those KLR650s are pretty sweet.

I use a bath brush and a garden hose to clean my bikes rad. Maybe, the brush is a bit "hard" on radiator, but until now nothing wrong did happen
I prefer to wash it with garden hose, and use brush as rarely as possible.

How to clean your radiator
Use your hose on moderate high stream to loosen , then use a baby bottles brush found in dollar stores and grocery stores, and continue using the hose.
Don't brush up and down. Place the brush on a section and wiggle the brissels into the openings.
