Re- installing my gas tank.

Hi folks.
I have to re- install my gas tank on my bike and I don't remember how. and now I have two filters sticking out of the bottom and one fits inside the other and I am having problems putting the tank back on. Well actually the tank won't go back on until I put the filters back in side the tank. 750 Honda sabre.
