Hey Everyone,
It seems that always things outside of motorcycling impacts our motorcycling careers.

Anyways, my wife is pregnant - and not with a little p, but with a big P - twin girls it looks like at the moment. (at least there won't be more, but it was 13 weeks when they told us the sex and ideally it should be checked at 18 weeks or later - there could be some inaccuracy).

Estimated Due Date: May 22 - or at least that is when the c-section is scheduled. No, I don't think she is going to make it that long.

Yes, she is huge already. :) I keep telling her that, but I don't think I'm winning any points.

You know I always wanted twins - just not now after I already had two kids. :) On the bright side, I already have two boys.

Now... of course the opposition to me getting a new, bigger, better bike is like doubled, but I think we can manage it... I mean I'm going to go poor buying toys for kids, I might as well get a nice toy for Daddy - and I even commute to work on it!

Hazzah!

Good thing I like kids. And the boys have no cousins so hopefully they will have siblings when I'm long since gone.

I think you are going to need that cruiser with a side car .......
Oh you may need to learn how to pull a trailer too. :o

Congratulations and enjoy your sleep for the moment.
I follow a new highway I haven't traveled before.

Oh, no. I'll be riding in to work and home - free of any additional unwanted family or co-workers! It'll be the only solitude I get - assuming that I get enough sleep to feel ok to ride.

Sweeeet! My nephew's wife had twins after having two kids...and then had another. Major happiness in that family. It'll be fun! Well, after they hit 5 or so. You won't sleep until then.

Major congrats. I wanna see a picture if you mount car seats to your bike...

Perhaps offer her the weekends to ride for those same reasons and you won't get as much resistance?

Oh, and I have 4 kids, 4 pregnancies. I think your way may be more efficient.

And remember - !NEVER! argue with the pregnant lady!

Congratulations!!

I couldn't vote because I like all three.

It is a blessing, You should have went to sleep early that night, and better you than me.

You might want to think about a remodel before the bigger better bike. Like adding one or two extra bathrooms.

Girls...Bathrooms...Think about it.

And Congratulations.

Ohhh we like kids, but the writings on the wall... When she gets her C-section she's getting tubes tied - and because she read online that there is a 1% failure with tubes being tied and it seems like we'll have sex more than 100 times.... I'm getting snipped, too.

Apparently, it is a fairly painless outpatient procedure.

My boys are both excited about the upcoming birth - and so am I. But the first 6 months are going to be hellish to say the least.

Just say no to car seats on bikes! Now that picture from India or Africa with a rider, two kids on the seat and one kid each on the saddlebags... That might be possible.

And then, you know Child Services will come and take my kids away.

Oh, I really want to ride to work... It is just a very interesting commute - and I like that it is distinctive that I'm the only one at my work place that rides. But I know when I'm too tired to ride and I drive those days.

I'm not going to argue with her, I promise. But I don't think I'm going to give in on moving up in motorcycle capability - especially since I think that once the twins are here - there will be no more spending on daddy... Until you know, they are all out of college.

Bleh.

I do pick on her sometimes, though... The belly is significantly larger now that when she was just about done with the boys.

Thanks for the congratulations... And I congratulate you as well - for still being alive with 4 kids.

More efficient or not - she was ready to be done at three and of course I get blamed for there being four...

Wow - I would never have known you had 4 kids. I'm amazed some days that either I or the kids make it through alive - and I've only got two at the moment!

We had two spontaneous abortions as well - unbelievably heart wrenching experiences that I could have done without having.

Hopefully, we're done with experiences like that. No matter what, though, this is the last pregnancy we'll be having. My wife doesn't hold up well being pregnant.

But since she is past the 13 week mark (way past - we are 18 weeks now) the chance of difficulties is reduced to 2 percent.
