Not related to your video, but - Darwin ride a motorcycle? Now that would be an interesting title for a movie.

What it would be about I don't know.

BTW, I'm thinking that is Darwin on your avatar, but I could be wrong - all old men from the past look the same to me.

Yes, it's Charlie D. Put up in honor of his 200th birthday. Not sure what his position on bikes would have been, but he did enjoy spending most of his time outdoors and had an adventurous streak. On the other hand, his wife was pretty conservative and he deferred to her on many things, so she might have put the kibosh on the whole bike thing. For example, he understood and accepted the implications of natural selection with respect to the teachings of the church, but since his wife was very pious he refused to ever engage on that issue so as not to offend her. Thomas Huxley (Aldous's grandfather) took up the fight with the church instead. Thomas Huxley also coined the term "agnostic."

yes, a little off topic here, but a facinating story. Here, this will close the loop and get back on track:

That was a really good video. I finally got the chance to watch the whole thing. It is a bit slow, but even so, it was great because of the content - especially the end, which I won't blow for anyone.

Whoa, didn't see the end of that one comin'. Just one more reminder as to what we could end up as every time we hit (er... bad word to use there) the road.

That was pretty intense. As mentioned, its pretty scary to think that something like that could happen to you at any time when you go for a ride.

Now I do wonder though, did he just leave her there, forget that she was with him during that ride or what?

He forgot she was with him. He was probably concussed - you can lose some memory of before and after the event.
