I have traded my 2004 kaw vulcan 800a for a 68 bonneville 650. The Bonne has no skins, is mostly disasembled and is gonna be so much fun to rebuild as the bobber they were meant to be.

Anyone on here have any good resources for old triumph parts?

Wow, that's dedication. A whole lot of work before you get to ride. But I can only imagine that once you get it riding it will be because of something you did, rather than something you bought.

And that's really cool. Too bad I don't have the skills or time for that sort of thing.

Thanks John...I added them to my favorites and will use when they fit.

Rhaddam...I also have an 04 Road King that is my everyday rider...The Bonne will prolly go to my oldest boy as he will be coming of age in about the same time it will be ready... I just want to build it. My big fat Oring cant comfortably ride it anywho.

Rob, I rode Brit bikes for a long time and know some 'tricks'. Contact me when you're ready.

brought it home today...its actually more intact than it was billed. Rolling frame with engine and transmission mounted and runnable.

The boy convinced me to go stock...his tastes so be it.

John I will totally pick your brain as we run into problems.

Nah, I like Road Kings because they are big, but I've got a B-King, which is big and not as useful as a Road King. :)

But I'll see about a project bike. It might be nice to have something to work on with my son.
