i agree with you, lost almost a month of riding last june due to the 100 year flood we had here in wisconsin. i literally could not go anywhere from my house without crossing standing water.

Farg I'm completely in awe of whats going on up there I do alot of EOC hurricane prep with the county here and i've had first hand expieriance with emergency ops and I truly hope that you and yours are fine through this. During these events you find how resiliant people are during trying times. Good luck to ya and if ya need a nice place to come and thaw out in florida give us a call!

I think we should be okay, we are on the "high" ground and should be a few feet above the current crest (42') If any of the levees break our neighborhood will be one of the "refuge" zones in town. The only thing hae to worry about is sewer backup, so I had to get some drain plugs. I was all set earlier this week to be out for spring test ride around the neighborhood, but we had to get a foot of snow and a bunch of rain, and a big stupid flood...ughhh. I shouldn't complain though, I could be in an area where i'd be watching my house float away.

We may be having a blizzard but there's nothing worse than a flood.

Same here man hope all's well and stay safe (god bless) like i said florida is 80 and rideable come visit the west coast, when things straighten out got a bike ya can ride and the fishing this time of the year is great! I spent time in mississippi after Katrina and the damage that floods do is unreal. Hang in there brother!
