About a month ago, I bought a 77 GL1000 and I love it. It is, essentially, my first bike, since my KZ400 lasted about 15 miles total, but that's not the point of this thread.
No, the point of this is that I'm going to replace the exhaust on it. I've noticed it has a lot of white smoke when I first start it up, or after it's sit for a while. There's smoke coming from where the exhaust manifolds are, so I'm going to guess that they've started rusting through.
I'm sure that there are people here that have seen the truly atrocious mufflers on an old Goldwing, so I'm replacing those for no reason other than "They're ugly."
Since I'm doing this, I'm assuming I'll have to re-jet my carbs, but I wouldn't have the slightest idea how to do that. If I could get some pointers, that would be great.
