83 Honda Magna vf74 750
I am new to this so please bear with me. I just bought a 83 honda magna vf74 750c. It's my first bike. It needs a little work and when i got it home i noticed the front turn signal lights come on, but they don't blink. The rear turn signals won't come on at all.The brake lights all work and so does the headlamp and highbeam.Anyone have any suggestions or ideas i would greatly appreciate your feedback.
with that information, bulbs are my first suspect. If the back turnsignals are burned out/taken out, it'll keep the fronts from blinking the way the circuits work. So check for bulbs, use ohmeter to check continuity if they're there, and check the wires going to the turn signals if those both check out.
good luck
good luck

The front signal lamps should be on all the time. When you switch on the left blinker you should get the brighter filament on the front left, the rear left, and a dash indicator blinking. If you switch on the left and nothing happens first look for a blown fuse. I'd look at the flasher relay too.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
