I've got a SPOT tracker, and I'll have it on my bike. You can watch my/our progress across the country on our way to the AMA Women in Motorcycling Conference, by clicking here:
SPOT share

There won't be any new messages until I turn the unit on on Saturday.

What would make that spot thing a must have if you could take a reading and send a picture to the site as well. Nice scenic out look mark you sport and upload the picture.

Well with google maps you could ad pictures when you got home I suppose but so much nicer if you could do it on the fly.

I CAN add a picture. Just not to the "active tracking" page. There's another feature where you can add photos along the route: The "Spot Adventures" page. I haven't had much chance to play with that yet, and the SPOT website is kind of awkward to work with.
