k&n replacement filter

i need to replace the air filter on my 03 volusia,, the problem is all i can find is the k&n replacement,, i did order it but am i gonna have to re jet to compansate for the bit more increase in air flow????? we have a trip planed on the 19th to a rally called aspencade ,,its up there in elevation so i might wait till we get back to install the k&n.. watcha think ???

Shouldn't give any trouble, besides a little more air will help at altitude. Don't spray with WD- 40 get the K&N spray

BTW it is no longer called Aspencade the name was changed a few years ago to Golden Aspen

right you are sir,, i guess im stuck in the past,, anyway thanks for the info and dont worry about wd-40

ive got k&n's on my trucks ,,
im planing on re-jetting in the near future and also putting on an after market air intake kit anyway just not now.. im just a little consernd about the elevation change and the filter and the efect it may have on the carb,,,,sounds like you have been to GOLDEN ASPEN this will be my first and im lookin foward to it

we will leave early sat. and return sometime on sun. come on up ill buy you a beer at Quarters,,,,,,,
