91 TRX 300 FW advanced spark problem

Im working on a 91 TRX 300 FW and it has the oddest problem with spark. If the quad sat for some time , 4-12 hr, it will get no spark. When the spark comes back after cranking the motor a lot it will start and run fine untill you shut it off again. Things I have all ready tried is bypassing ing. switch, cleaning all ground surfaces, nutural oil and reverse light work properly, tested coil (on a machine and not that ohms crap), good battery, bypassed kill switch, stator and pick up pulsor test good, fuses good, all connectors ceaned and pluged in with good connections. I dont have the correct cdi to see if thats the problem, but I do not think it is the problem because cdi boxes start going in and out at warm temps not cold. I will be getting a known good cdi off a running quad to test in the next couple days. I am at a stand still on this unless anyone else ran into this problem before. I am a motorcycle mech. at a shop and have proper testing equipment so the tests I ran are done properly.
