Stuck with a slow tire leak out in no where. Since I have yet to have a flat I have no experience with the "fix a flat" products.
Anyone out there try one and how far towards home could you get? Also if it is not a major hole, can you put another can in after the first can leaks out? I know its a mess but in the middle of no where, You got to get help.
Any experiences with fix a flat type of products?

You're in a tough spot, and I've been precisely in your shoes, in the middle of nowhere with a flat tire with spoke wheels. Fix-a-flat did not work for me then.
Now...if you use a product like fix-a-flat and immediately get on the bike and ride, it may hold pressure until you stop the bike and then it will likely go flat again.
Instead, if it is a slow leak, try to get a bicycle tire pump and strap it on the bike and keep filling it every hour or so. If it's a slow enough leak of course.
I never leave on a trip without a flat kit and a tire pump....but I run mag wheels that don't use tubes...for the very reason that you can't fix flats easily on the roadside with spoke wheels.

I took a tractor tube with a slow leak, filled it with Fix-A-Flat, then rolled it around in a drive-in theater for half an hour. Other that that time it always fails.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.
