Sort of looks like a z1000 or the new 750 by Kawasaki. What is the downside and upside of parallel twin compared to inline 4 (comparing cubic cent that would be the same).

Well, just to name a few pluses, a twin would be narrower, lighter, and easier to maintain. They'd be cheaper to produce, too, assuming a comparable production run.
Downsides? Traditionally, parallel twins vibrated like paint-shakers. We used to joke that you could always tell a British twin from behind because of the trail of parts that vibrated off. With a modern, well-engineered counterbalance system (like on your ZRX, for example) this wouldn't be much of an issue, though. I'd guess they're probably more efficient, MPG-wise, due to fewer moving parts and less internal friction.
That's all I can think of for now. Maybe someone else'll chime in.

Oh. I'm sure it's a nice bike though.
