BBCode disabled in Blogs/Journals Forum?

OK, I'm not understanding something here. Whenever I post in the Blogs forum, a message appears that says BBCode is OFF, and it's right: BBCode isn't working there. But in my profile, I have "BBCode enabled by default" = Yes. So obviously this global setting is overridden somewhere at the level of the Blogs forum. Where can I change that? There's no checkbox below the Post Reply box to enable BBCode.......

This is me, Mike, and my newly registered today new user account I tested it out with. I fixed up the forum permissions and user permissions and now I can use BBcode in that forum. Try it out again jstark47 and let me know if everything is ok.
