how do I care for a bike?
I have not had a bike in three years and I have completely forgot how to care for a bike. What kind of care and maintenance is involved with owning a new bike? All I remember is oil and filter change, but don't know when to do it, and air filter change, again, do not know when to do it. Also, when you wash it, what do you stay away from? any help whould be greatly appreciated! The motorcycle I want is a Honda CBR600F4i 2005.

When you buy any new bike you'll get a warranty and an owner's manual. The manual will tell you what service is required at what intervals.
It will also tell you what precautions to take when washing it, but it's usually just common sense stuff like not using high-pressure water, not aiming the hose at electrical components, not spraying it up the exhaust, etc.

I don't endorse products unless they really work ,but the Mr. Clean AutoDry CarWash works like a charm . It has it's own mild detergent and filter and those are the items that you will always replace . It attaches to your water hose and ya wash , ya rinse , and when you run the dry setting it leaves no water marks whatsoever .
When your oil isn't clean and purdy , ya change it and the filter . Ya check your air filter for cleanliness on a regular basis and when you reach the stage when it starts getting hard to see thru it , ya change .
Just remember to keep all things simple and you won't have any problems .
With the kindest regards, Wizzard
