2003 RC51 with Hotbodies undertail, Magical Racing C/F speedo trim and rear hugger, new fork seals, SATO low mount C/F's, PCIIIr with Dan Kyle map, HRC clutch & brake fluid covers and newly added black CRG shorty brake/clutch levers:
Nice! It may be stupid, but my favorite feature on the RC51's have got to be the acute angle between the seat and rear tail fairing above the slanted, high mount exhaust system.
So what's it like on the street? Does it produce a fair amount of low and midrange torque at the bottom?
It's a very fun bike to ride on the street, the suspension is really good for stock but RC's are known for that and the torque is indisputably there (i just try to keep the front wheel down LOL) but the sweetest thing about it is how it leans into corners, it weighs a massive 460lbs but can dive into corners like butter. Thanks for all the compliments!
I was looking at one, but I didn't even sit on it - it was out of my price range. Sweet bike, man.

agree, the RC, as long as in good condition, age nor mileage matter they'll sell for a good price. I've enjoyed this bike a lot, very rare and a lot of I4 guys don't even know what to think about it when started lol!
I'll ride it out towards western NC on the weekend from VA Beach (700 mile round trip) plus extra miles I do up on the BRP and it's not too bad, the sargent seat helps my arse a lot. I know it's not made to go long distances on but I roll against the grain on a lot of things. BUT, I am 23 and in some years I'll probably be riding a FJR1300 around wandering what the hell I was thinking back in the day .
