Sweet bike.
I love an RC-51. And don't shorty levers and trick rearsets make a bike feel tight and smooth? Nice machine.....

I was thinking the same thing, I got to get the SATO rearsets and the SS brake and clutch lines to finish it off. Thanks again bro

Nice! It may be stupid, but my favorite feature on the RC51's have got to be the acute angle between the seat and rear tail fairing above the slanted, high mount exhaust system.
So what's it like on the street? Does it produce a fair amount of low and midrange torque at the bottom?

It's a very fun bike to ride on the street, the suspension is really good for stock but RC's are known for that and the torque is indisputably there (i just try to keep the front wheel down LOL) but the sweetest thing about it is how it leans into corners, it weighs a massive 460lbs but can dive into corners like butter. Thanks for all the compliments!

Very nice man, those RCs are secksay!
I vote engine ice in the radiators for the next mod, she'll run even better for you!

I was looking at one, but I didn't even sit on it - it was out of my price range.

Sweet bike, man.

agree, the RC, as long as in good condition, age nor mileage matter they'll sell for a good price. I've enjoyed this bike a lot, very rare and a lot of I4 guys don't even know what to think about it when started lol!

Hows that bike for riding any distance? The riding position on those always reminded me of a Ducati i.e. super aggressive bordering on torture rack.
I bet it would be an absolute blast on the track:)

I'll ride it out towards western NC on the weekend from VA Beach (700 mile round trip) plus extra miles I do up on the BRP and it's not too bad, the sargent seat helps my arse a lot. I know it's not made to go long distances on but I roll against the grain on a lot of things. BUT, I am 23 and in some years I'll probably be riding a FJR1300 around wandering what the hell I was thinking back in the day
