retread here

#1 Unread post by Retread »

Hi, everybody !

Just stumbled on this site and signed right up.
My handle is Retread, I just got a Suzki C50 after a 10 year hiatius. Why ,Oh why did I wait so long ?
I am 60 years old, some of my freinds have asked me why did you get a bike ? My answer is "Because I still "can" and if you have to ask then you will not understand any way.
Previous rides were a 85 Suzuki 550L and an tricked out 84 Moto Guzzi.
I all ready have a set of V&H pipes on order for this baby, along with a power commander fuel module and hyper charger. This baby is going to breathe and sound like a Bike should.

Hi Retread welcome!

Thats the same question I asked myself, why wasn't I doing this bike thing
earlier!

Recently talked my neighbour into putting his Kawasaki back on the road, (its an 86 and had been parked for 10 years) he's 65 and just loving it, and he's talking about buying an Orange V-Rod now

Welcome Retread! It's always good to have more guys to talk bikes with. 8)

And by the way, Wizzard: I think the official rule is that you're not truly "old" until you can't ride anymore.
