First time I saw this thread and I have to saw those photos are amazing! I didn't think the V-Strom could do that. I have taken mine off-road (when I owned it, a DL650), it was "ok" in 4" loose gravel and did well at 100km/h on rock road with emergency breaking. But I never thought about taking it through a river! haha.
