2007 Honda CB900
So my friend will be bidding on a bike for me tomorrow morning...wish her/me luck! After much searching and research, I think that's one of a very select few bikes that are comfortable for me to sit on, is light enough it doesn't hurt my hip to lift it up off the stand, and will be tame enough for responsible in-town commuting but still have more than enough passing power on the highways.

Unfortunately, the two that were going through this week went for more than we thought was reasonable. Would have been a final cost of $5500-$5600, and that would have been at my pricing, so around $6,000 sticker if they'd have been buying it for profitable resale purposes. Always next week.

Buying a 2004 here in Phoenix. Went and looked at it tonight, will be getting the money out of the bank in the morning. He was asking $3500 on craigslist, but we settled on $3000. Pics to follow once I have internet at home again...one we get the new home.
Mike--full review to follow on the CB900F/919/Hornet.

Looking forward (very much so) on reading that. I know Andrea really wants a CB900F/919/Hornet and I've always loved the CB series myself.jaskc78 wrote:Buying a 2004 here in Phoenix. Re: 2007 Honda CB900
So I've put about 500 miles on it, but I'm waiting on the review until after I can ride regularly again and get the sprockets put back to stock. He did a conversion on it to a 525 chain vice the 530 that's stock and I think he did the usual +2/-1 sprocket swap with it. Will also be getting a corbin seat for it, too, which will hopefully make it much more comfortable overall.
