I have tried several times to post a picture of my bike and all I get is the picture is too large. Can anybody help me resolve this problem?

Re: Posting picture
Larry, try resizing the picture to make it smaller.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Re: Posting picture
Sorry, I was at work earlier.
First you need to upload the picture to a web hosting site like tinypic.com or Photobucket, or here in the photo gallery. Photobucket re-sizes your photo automatically. When you upload the picture the site will give you a url that looks like http://i25.tinypic.com/23jk45i.jpg . Next you surround the url with the image tags so it looks like After you hit submit the picture will show up.

Re: Posting picture
If you would like to have it hosted on Total Motorcycle here are 2 options:
1. Upload it to our Gallery: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/gallery/ any photo (MAX 200KB) can be uploaded there. It will stay there for many, many years, safe.
2. Attach a photo to a message. Reply or Post a new thread and choose "If you wish to attach one or more files enter the details below.", browse... to where your photo is located on your computer, type in a File Comment and hit "Add the File", it will then be attached to your post. Note: Unlike option 1, I only have 250MB of server space to devote to attached files, it will kick out of oldest if it runs out of space, thus unlike Option 1, it may be not around for years and years safe.
3. Use a free image hosting service like suggest (tinypic.com or Photobucket) BE AWARE your picture is at the mercy of these free hosting services. I've seen MANY photos disapear after a year. So while it's convenient to use these services, try not to.

Re: Posting picture
Thanks everybody for your help. I joined the CMC motorcycle club and on their forum had a site that would let me down size my picture.
