Sneak Peek: Total Motorcycle Museum

#1 Unread post by totalmotorcycle »

Come on, right here, right now, get yer free sneak peek of the new Total Motorcycle Museum!

First Total Motorcycle logo, circa late 2002

I've been meaning to create this resource for many years now and never ever could find the time, but I MADE the time to do it.

Total Motorcycle has gone through many, many changes over the past 11 years, a little here a major one there... it's likely you haven't seen what Total Motorcycle looked like in those early 2000-2003 years or how our TMW logo evolved. Well, you'll be interested to see our evolution right here in our Total Motorcycle Museum...

Interesting Fact: Did you know Total Motorcycle was originally called "the Rider homepage" in 2000 then changed to "100% Motorcycle Website" in 2001? It wasn't until late 2002 when the name "Total Motorcycle" was thought up!

please watch where you step, it's under construction. :D

You are right on the button with that one! I can't believe it's been so long since Total Motorcycle graced the internet. I was putting up the old webpages and thinking... was that REALLY that long ago?

I also spent earlier this week putting up the old headlines since 2004 here: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/newsheadlines-2011.htm again, amazing how time flies there!

gsJack, thanks so much for sticking around Total Motorcycle since 2004!

...and also thanks to everyone else too for making this site one of your destinations on the internet... there are so many more websites out there since TMW started in 2000 and I'm honored you keep coming back here. :D

Ok, the section is finished. It took A LOT longer to create than I thought it would have but it's done now and I can say I'm very proud of it and Total Motorcycle's History.

Take a read of this as well when you are there: http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/totalmot ... 0-2002.htm

Here is an except from the 2011 logo page:

Image

2011 - The next decade. 105 million people helped so far*; 2020 target: 250 million.

When I think back on how many tens of millions of people Total Motorcycle has helped and supported I get all misty-eyed, my heart beats faster and I feel so honored to have done something to help so many in my life. But I am quick to point out that it is never "just me", but the visitors, the members, the site supporters, the moderators and those who spread Total Motorcycle by posting on the internet, in emails and by word of mouth. Total Motorcycle couldn't be anywhere near as popular if it wasn't for your support and help and for that words cannot express my gratitude and appreciation.

I'm very proud of this and you should be too as you also helped out those millions out as well!

So in 2011, in recognition of these facts I changed the silver bar to a white bar (white for truth and honestly) and proudly proclaimed that Total Motorcycle is very proud to be:

"Supporting motorcyclists since 2000"

Total Motorcycle Website Logo 2011

Friendly, helpful, useful and unbaised, always have been, always will be.

Thank you for making Total Motorcycle your internet destination.

See you again soon!

* 105 million people helped as of May 2011.
