SoCal Noob

#1 Unread post by MarkB »

Hi everybody,

It's been 25 years, but it looks like I'll be on a bike again fairly soon. The transportation crunch has caught up with my family (teen-aged drivers and so many cars to go around). SWMBO has somewhat begrudgingly relented on her motorcycle moratorium since we moved to CA.

All this adds up to Mark getting a bike again. Since it's been awhile, I am registering to take the MSF class and get my license upgraded before I start looking for my bike. I already have a pretty good idea what I want based on my previous experience and what I've read here. Still, I want to test ride a few bikes before I pull the trigger.

Thanks for all the great info.

Mark

:hithere:

:uk:

I had a 20yr break from riding until I got back in the saddle 3yrs ago. I also took some lessons as roads are busier & bikes generally more powerful. I hadn't even had an electric start button before!

Wish I hadn't spent so long thinking about it.

Enjoy :D
