Well, I wouldn't wanna mosey upstairs and talk to one of the psychologists. Let's just put it that way.
Few weeks ago IT was having a NIGHTMARE day, and it just happened to be a really intense thunderstorm outside. One of the commitment folks wandered in, like he does every so often, to shoot the "poo poo". Asked how I was doing. I told him I was thinking about going outside to hug the flagpole and wait for the flash. Butthead laughed at me
my projects:
1. cabling with cat6 for 4 counties
2. all new network gear(routers, gigabit switches etc)
3. all new domain controllers(upgrade from 2k server to 2008)
4. new firewall gadjet & VPN. (asa series from cisco)
5. Migrating from using a hosted pop3 email service to exchange.
6. migrating outside webpage from current provider and re-designing that.
7. Learning sharepoint for company wide intranet.
8. trying to get a decent salesman to sell us a metro ethernet contract for our wan stuff to the other 3 counties
9. trying to get a different salesman to give us a quote on video conferencing stuff(desktop to desktop in remote counties)
10. ditching the records system, and medical records system, and hr/financial system we've had for 20 years for something brand new.
11. 4 year bachelors in computer science.(usually about 30 hours of programming homework per week, per programming class)
Yee. Freaking. Haw.

And of course taking care of the normal day to day, I can't print, I can't send email etc things.
And my feet are too fat to sit on the boards.
