valve clearences question

Is there any order in which to check the valve clearances on a suzuki gsx 750 f 2000

Usually on an inline 4, the normal order is:

1. #1 & #3 intake

2. #2 & #4 exhaust

3. #2 & #4 intake

4. #1 & #3 exhaust

Nothing written in stone but this order makes the most sense since you turn the crankshaft 180 degrees after aligning the T mark to check the #1 & #3 intake to start.
