i bought this bike at a junk yard and have got it running well but the turn signals do not work. when i turn the switch both indicators on the dash light up but not the signals. i bought a new flasher and the indicators on the dash flash all the time like a warning signal on a car. can't see anything wrong with the wiring.
this is on an 1982 kawasaki kz 1000 csr

If the wiring is realllllly good then the switch is suspect. How difficult is it to remove and clean?

Ok, you installed a new flasher, and is it both indicators flashing all the time now, right?

the wiring is good and the switch is good. i looked at the book and it said that if any one light in the system is bad then the whole system will not work properly so i am going to systematically replace the lights until i see if that is the problem. thanks for your help
