Replacing a stator and voltage regulator/rectifier

My Honda Shadow VT1100C sat idle all last winter because a connecting plug from the stator to the regulator had burned out. Being low on funds and having a bit of mechanical ability, I decided to tackle it, myself.

I live in Delaware on the east coast and ordered the parts from a company (I don't know if I'm allowed to mention the name, here) in California. To my amazement, the parts were delivered to my door in 18 hours - from over 3,000 miles away!

I took some photos and created a video. It's short and boring but has an amusing ending.

:welcome2: to TMW.

Great job on fixing your motorbike. It sounds great!

You should patent that reverse gear you have.

It's a bit scary but a lot of fun. I'm working on a rotor for vertical take-off, now.
