hi folks ive decided to get a new adventure touring bike. the ones im considering are
suzuki v-strom 1000,yamaha super tenere,bmw r 1200 gs adventure, triumph explorer
ducati multistrada any help would be appreciated

Of that bunch, the V-strom's the low cost option. Do you intend to take it off pavement? If so, lighter is better - the Multistrada and R1200GS are the lightest, but both are pricey, especially optioned out. V-strom is heavier than those two, but lighter than the Tenere or Explorer.

I think the Tenere is special order only, at least in the USA. The V-strom 1000 might as well be special order only, dealers don't stock it.
