Input on a New (old) Bike Kawasaki Voyager XII

#1 Unread post by Flesher »

I picked up a 1997 Kawasaki Voyager XII primarily to put an end to my wife pointing at every tourer she sees and saying "am I ever going to be that comfortable on a bike?" So I figured this is the bike we'll use for two up riding. I'll post up some pics when I get it, but it looks like this: Kawi Voyager .

Anyway I don't know much about these bikes, other than it was intended to be a goldwing copy back in the day. From what I read before going for it, most owners praised the bike, and I was attracted to it because it's still a standard riding position rather than a cruiser feet forward set up, and it strikes me as a little sportier (funny to say in a bike of this class I know) than some of the other options in this class, and less money than a similar Honda GL.

Never thought I would ride a bike like this... lol, what do you guys think, could you see yourself on it? anyone here familiar with this bike?
