so i just got my back from my mechanic and he said my bike doesn't sound right. sounds like not all cylinders are firing normally.

that sounds bad.

i believe it though since even though i haven't been using it for a while... i do feel that my bike got weaker.

anyway... im already at 13,900 miles so he said, it's about time.

is that price too high?

That's actually pretty cheap if he is including a valve adjustment. If you want, I'd run some seafoam through it and replace the plugs. It is due for a valve adjustment though.

What all is he going to do. If it's set the valves, new plugs, adjust and balance the carbs, fresh fluids (all of them), adjust the suspension, and check the air in the tires that's about right.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

I'm with wrider, that's pretty cheap, up here you can easily add $200 more and that probably wouldn't include the valves. I will have to admit, a good portion of that is the labour to remove all the plastic and tank required to get at my engine. I have to pull my tank to change plugs, or do just about any engine work. Thank goodness I don't ride a GW with plastic from stem to stern...
