How much is my bike worth

I have a 1978 honda hawk, it will turn over, it has spark and fuel, but I have yet to get it to crank. ((Lost interest)) The side plastic pieces are ready for paint and the tank is in good condition, other than the spout being broken. ((I got a quote for $35 for the spout)) The wheels aren't bent and the bike rolls fine.

Can you give me a base price on what it may be worth?

Book on that bike in excellent shape is ~ $750. I find book to be a bit low on vintage bikes. Even so, with it having problems and not currently running I think you'd be lucky you get more than $500. Even if it was perfect you'd have a hard time getting $1000 - at least by selling it to anyone who knows something about motorcycles.
