Vibrations around 4500 RPM

Hi, my bike makes some vibration when the engine revs around 4500 RPM. It's a Yamaha FZ-600 1988. Someone else had such bike or such problem ?

I was thinking of putting some rubber under de clip on to help reduce it. Any more suggestions?

are the engine mounts worn?? maybe you need to replace the boots/bushings on the mounts.

Kar is right, all engines have a period of resonance, and this is likely to be the cause of the vibrations, especially as you say that they occur within a specific rev range.

Check your mounts, and check the bolts are all tight too. Also make sure the exhaust is not rubbing on the frame or anything.

Does the Fizzer have a "counter-balancer?" If so, then adjust it to factory specs. There is some handlebar weights that can help. About 4000-4500 is where 4 cylinder engines make the most "buzziest" vibration.
